Four In A Bed
Season 10

Ep 11. Series 10 Episode 11

Four in a Bed is a popular British reality TV show in which four owners of different bed and breakfast establishments take turns hosting each other and rating their experiences. At the end of the week, the winner is announced and awarded a trophy.

In Series 10 Episode 11, the competitors are a group of B&B owners from the Scottish Highlands. The first to host is property developer and entrepreneur, Gillian, who owns the luxury boutique hotel, Ard na Breatha. The hotel offers breathtaking views of the sea and mountains, as well as beautifully appointed rooms and unique amenities such as a sauna and a hot tub. However, some of the guests are disappointed with the lack of in-room tea and coffee facilities and the remote location of the hotel.

Next up is Stuart, who runs the Corran House Hostel, a budget accommodation option in Oban. The hostel features comfortable dormitory rooms and private en-suite doubles, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a common lounge area. The guests appreciate the friendly atmosphere of the hostel and the generous breakfast, but some find fault with the cleanliness of the showers and the communal space.

The third competitor is Charlie, the owner of the Machrie Hotel and Golf Links, a historic property on the Isle of Islay. The hotel boasts a stunning location on the beach and a championship golf course, as well as elegantly decorated rooms, a fine dining restaurant and a spa. However, some of the guests are put off by the high prices of the extras, such as drinks and snacks, and the lack of facilities for non-golfers.

Finally, the group visits the Easdale Island B&B, run by the couple Ian and Maggie. The B&B is located on a small island accessible only by ferry, and offers comfortable rooms with sea views and a home-cooked breakfast. The guests enjoy the rustic charm of the property and the hosts' warmth and hospitality, but some are bothered by the lack of privacy in the shared bathroom and the limited dining options on the island.

Throughout the week, the B&B owners get to know each other and engage in friendly banter and healthy competition. They also take part in local activities, such as whisky tasting and seal watching, and explore the stunning scenery of the Scottish Highlands and Islands. As usual, they rate each other on different aspects of their accommodation, hosting, food and cleanliness, and the scores are tallied up to determine the winner.

Series 10 Episode 11 of Four in a Bed showcases some of the best hospitality options in Scotland, from luxurious hotels to budget-friendly hostels, and offers a glimpse into the unique culture, traditions and natural beauty of the country. The show is entertaining, informative and often hilarious, as the B&B owners clash and bond over their shared passion for hospitality.
