Ep 1. Series 10 Episode 1

Four in a Bed follows the journey of four pairs of B&B owners as they take turns to stay at each other's establishments and give feedback on their experiences. In Series 10 Episode 1, we are introduced to the first set of contestants who hail from the South West of England.

The first B&B up for inspection is The Old Parsonage, run by couple John and Jane. The establishment boasts a stunning garden and a 13th-century building complete with period features. The other contestants are impressed with the grandeur of the property but do note that the decor could use some updating. The guests are surprised by the lack of a cooked breakfast and instead are offered a continental option. John and Jane are excellent hosts, and the guests are pleased with their attention to detail.

Next up is the Woodlands Guest House, owned by couple Gary and Jo. The establishment is located in a residential area and has a suburban feel to it. The third B&B on the itinerary is the Exmoor White Horse Inn, run by married couple Lisa and James. The last stop on the tour is the Quoit-at-Cross, a former country pub turned B&B, run by couple Matthew and Ken. The establishment stands out for its unique decor, with each room decorated in a different theme. The guests are impressed with the quirky touches but note that some of the rooms could use a little TLC. The cooked breakfast is a highlight, with the guests enjoying the locally sourced produce. Matthew and Ken are noted for their excellent hosting skills, and the other contestants feel that they have gone above and beyond in their efforts to make their stay comfortable.

At the end of the week, the contestants come together to share their feedback and reveal their scores. The scores are tight, and the contestants are nervous as they await the result. In a surprising twist, the results reveal a tie between two of the establishments. The tie is broken by a single point, and the winner is announced.
