In Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends season 5 episode 1 titled "Cheese A Go-Go," the gang at the home are met with a new character named Cheese. Cheese is a yellow imaginary friend that belongs to a neighbor of the home's creator, Madame Foster. Cheese is an oddball character who is constantly making strange noises and behaving in bizarre ways. When he comes to the home, he starts causing chaos and trouble for the others.
Cheese starts eating everything in sight, including the home's fridge and all of its contents. He also begins to wreak havoc on their daily routines, like the way they play board games and watch movies. The other friends start to get upset with Cheese, even considering the possibility of sending him away. However, Mac, one of the human residents at the home, tries to help Cheese fit in better by teaching him how to behave.
Mac and Cheese spend the day practicing ordinary activities like playing catch and eating tacos. The other friends watch with amusement as Mac tries to mold Cheese into a normal imaginary friend. But when Cheese starts acting up again, the others start to get frustrated. They realize that Cheese is just different than the rest of them and that they need to learn to accept him for who he is.
The gang decides to throw Cheese his own party, where he can act however he wants without judgment. The party is a huge success, and Cheese finally feels accepted by the others. From that day forward, Cheese continues to be an eccentric character who is loved by all of the friends at the home.
In summary, "Cheese A Go-Go" is an episode about accepting people despite their differences and eccentricities. The new character Cheese is a lovable oddball who teaches the others to celebrate and embrace their uniqueness. The gang learns that just because someone is different, it doesn't mean they can't be a valued member of the group. In the end, Cheese becomes a beloved part of the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends family.
