Bloo's the Boss is the ninth episode of the fourth season of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. In this episode, Bloo is given the responsibility of being the temporary head of the house while Mr. Herriman is away on vacation.
At first, Bloo relishes in his newfound power and authority. He makes numerous changes to the house, including instituting a mandatory pizza party every day, allowing everyone to jump on the furniture, and canceling all chores. However, the other imaginary friends quickly become frustrated with Bloo's reckless behavior and lack of consideration for others.
As the episode progresses, Bloo's power begins to corrupt him. He becomes more authoritarian and dismissive of the other imaginary friends' concerns. Eventually, he reaches a breaking point and declares himself the permanent head of the house.
The other imaginary friends band together to confront Bloo and challenge his leadership. With the help of Madame Foster, they are able to convince Bloo to relinquish his power and return to his normal role in the house.
The episode ends with the imaginary friends learning the valuable lesson that being a leader requires a sense of responsibility and consideration for others, and that true leadership is earned through trust and respect.
