In this episode of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends season 2, "Sight for Sore Eyes / Bloo's Brothers," viewers are in for a treat with two exciting stories.
The first segment titled "Sight for Sore Eyes" focuses on a new friend named Peepers. Peepers is a small imaginary friend with large and thick glasses that make his eyes appear much bigger than they actually are. Peepers is having a hard time seeing through his glasses and Foster's Home is the perfect place for him to receive treatment to help him see clearly.
All the residents of Foster's Home feel sympathy for Peepers and are excited to help him. However, there is one resident named Bloo who does not feel Peepers needs any help. Bloo believes that Peepers looks cool in his glasses and they should stay as they are. The other residents dismiss Bloo's comments and go ahead to help Peepers with his vision problem.
Soon they all realize helping Peepers is not as easy as they thought it would be. They try several remedies, but none of them seems to work. As they begin to lose hope, Bloo comes up with an idea that just might work.
In the second segment, "Bloo's Brothers," Bloo's imaginary friend brothers, Benny and Jackie Khones, come to visit him at Foster's Home. Benny and Jackie are private investigators and arrive at the home wearing trench coats, sunglasses and fedoras, and looking very inconspicuous.
Bloo is excited to see his brothers, but he does not realize that they are not exactly trustworthy. Benny and Jackie are on a mission to find a way to get their hands on Madame Foster's secret chocolate chip cookie recipe. Bloo is unaware of their intentions and happily takes them on a tour of Foster's Home.
Benny and Jackie are on a mission and will stop at nothing to get what they want. They snoop around the house, asking questions and looking for hidden spaces. The residents of Foster's Home begin to notice that there is something off about Benny and Jackie.
The situation escalates when the two brothers corner Madame Foster and demand that she give them the recipe for her famous cookies. The residents of Foster's Home come together to protect their favorite sweet treat and defend Madame Foster. Benny and Jackie are no match for them, and they soon realize that they have been caught.
In the end, Bloo's brothers apologize for their behavior and everyone forgives them. Benny and Jackie make peace with the residents of Foster's Home and even offer to make a new dessert for everyone.
The episode ends on a happy note with both segments resolving issues and the friends at Foster's Home overcoming challenges.
