Ep 1. House of Bloos: Part 1

In the first episode of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, House of Bloos: Part 1, we meet a young boy named Mac who is forced to give up his imaginary friend, Bloo, because his mother thinks he is too old to have one. Devastated at the thought of losing his best friend, Mac learns of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends - a place where imaginary friends can stay and be loved by new children. Determined to keep Bloo close, Mac sneaks him out of his house and makes his way to the home.

Upon arrival, they meet Mr. Herriman, a prim and proper rabbit who runs the home with an iron fist. He explains to Mac that before Bloo can stay at the home, they must pass an inspection to ensure that Bloo and Mac are a good match for one of the house's prospective adopters. The inspection is a rigorous process and it seems that Mac and Bloo may not be able to stay together after all.

Meanwhile, Bloo is having the time of his life at the home, making new imaginary friends like Wilt, a kind-hearted basketball who is missing an arm, Eduardo, a giant purple monster who is scared of everything, and Coco, a bird who only speaks in coos and lays colorful eggs. While the other imaginary friends are excited to find new homes, Bloo is determined to stay with Mac.

As the inspection approaches, Mac becomes increasingly anxious and afraid of losing Bloo. He thinks of a plan to cheat the system and makes a deal with the other imaginary friends to help him. They all agree to distract Mr. Herriman while Mac helps Bloo pass the inspection.

Just when everything seems to be going according to plan, Mac and Bloo are caught and are at risk of being sent back home. As they prepare to say goodbye, something miraculous happens, which gives them hope that they may not have to part ways after all.
