Dr. Henry Morgan, a New York City medical examiner who has lived for over 200 years, is on the hunt for answers about his own immortality and has been secretly investigating other people who appear to be like him. In season 1, episode 10 of Forever, titled "The Man in the Killer Suit," Henry's investigation takes a dark turn when a serial killer begins targeting his friends and loved ones.
The episode opens with Henry and his partner, Detective Jo Martinez, investigating a grisly crime scene. The victim, a young woman, has been brutally murdered and left in a dumpster. As they comb through the evidence, they realize that the killer left a message for them - a drawing of a man in a suit with a menacing smile.
Henry recognizes the drawing and is immediately alarmed - the man in the suit is someone he knows, someone who has been secretly watching him for years. He confides in his closest friend, Abe, about his suspicions, but Abe is dismissive - he doesn't believe that anyone could know Henry's secret and get away with it.
Meanwhile, the killer strikes again, this time targeting one of Henry's colleagues at the medical examiner's office. Henry and Jo race to find the killer before more people are hurt, but the clues they uncover point to a twisted game of cat and mouse - the killer seems to be taunting them, leaving clues and messages that only Henry can decipher.
As the investigation heats up, Henry begins to unravel the mystery of the man in the killer suit. He discovers that the man is a former friend and colleague, someone who was once like Henry but who has turned to darkness and violence. The man blames Henry for his own immortality, and now he is determined to take revenge by destroying everything and everyone that Henry holds dear.
As the killer's plan comes to fruition and Henry's loved ones are put in danger, Henry must confront his past and his own immortality in order to stop the killer before it's too late. With the help of Jo and Abe, he sets a trap for the killer and takes him down in a climactic showdown.
In the aftermath, Henry reflects on the toll that his immortality has taken on him and the people he cares about. He realizes that while he may have the gift of eternal life, it comes with a heavy price. As he continues his quest for answers, he knows that he must remain vigilant - because there are others out there like him, and not all of them are willing to use their gift for good.
