In Flying Wild Alaska season 2 episode 5, entitled “Every Dog Has Its Day," viewers continue to follow the Tweto family and their airline business, Era Alaska. The episode mainly focuses on Ariel Tweto, the daughter of Jim and Ferno Tweto, and her adventures as a ramp agent.

The episode opens with Ariel arriving at the local airport early in the morning to prepare for her first day on the job. She meets her supervisor, Cory, who takes her on a tour of the airport and shows her how to use the equipment she needs to start her job. She is then introduced to the other members of the ground crew: Ken, JT, and Ben, who are all experienced ramp agents and help her throughout the day.

Ariel is excited to start her job and gets right to work loading baggage onto the aircraft, guiding the pilot into the proper parking spot, and fueling the airplane for its next flight. She faces some initial challenges, struggling to lift the heavy bags and learning how to properly secure them. However, with patience and determination, she soon gets the hang of it and proves to be a valuable member of the team.

Throughout the day, Ariel’s upbeat personality and strong work ethic impress her co-workers, including her supervisor Cory, who praises her hard work and dedication to the job. He also takes the time to teach her some of the finer points of the job, like using the headset to communicate with the pilot, and how to inspect the plane before each flight to ensure it’s ready to take off.

Meanwhile, back at the Era Alaska offices, Jim Tweto is faced with his own set of problems. One of the company’s planes has broken down in a remote area, and they need to send a team out to repair it. Jim recruits two of his most experienced mechanics, Cullen and Danny, to fly out to the site and fix the plane. They face their own challenges, having to carry in all the tools and equipment they need to make the repairs. They finally get the job done after a long and grueling day, but it’s a testament to their dedication to the job.

As the day winds down, Ariel reflects on her experiences on the job. She’s grateful for the opportunity to work on the ramp and sees firsthand how important her job is to the success of the airline. She also gains a newfound respect for her co-workers and the challenges they face in maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

“Every Dog Has Its Day” is a great example of what Flying Wild Alaska is all about: showcasing the courageous and hardworking individuals who make up the teams at Era Alaska. Viewers are treated to a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to keep an airline running smoothly, and the camaraderie that develops among the ground crew. The episode also provides insight into the day-to-day challenges that the Tweto family and their employees face, and the unwavering dedication they have to ensure their passengers arrive safely at their destinations.
