Season 3 episode 7, titled Fluffy Off The Menu: Los Angeles, is all about exploring Los Angeles' hidden food gems that are not on any menu. As we join Fluffy on his adventure, we get a peek into the city's diverse and vibrant culinary scene.
The episode starts with Fluffy meeting with "Off The Menu" founder Lawrence Longo, who is a food influencer that curates secret items from famous restaurants for his followers. Fluffy is excited to try out some of these exclusive dishes, and Lawrence has some real treats in store for him.
Their first stop is at The Crack Shack, a fried chicken joint that is famous for its Shrimp Toast Sandwich, something that is not on the regular menu. As Fluffy takes a bite of the sandwich, he cannot help but gush about the perfect combination of flavors.
Next up, they visit LA hotspot Sugarfish for a sushi tasting session. This is followed by a pit stop at KazuNori, a hand-rolled sushi bar that serves up an out-of-this-world hand roll that can only be ordered via Off The Menu.
One of the highlights of the episode is Fluffy's visit to Chef Ludo Lefebvre's Trois Familia in Silver Lake, where Lawrence has curated a special breakfast burger for the occasion. The burger features croissant buns, chorizo, and green chili, and Fluffy is simply blown away by it.
As the day continues, Fluffy and Lawrence visit several other restaurants, including Kravingz in Tarzana, Zankou Chicken, and then a dessert stop at Ysabel in West Hollywood. Each dish is more delicious than the last, and Fluffy is on cloud nine throughout the episode.
Apart from the food, Fluffy also gets to meet several chefs and restaurant owners, learning about their passion for cooking and the inspiration behind their dishes.
Throughout the episode, we see Fluffy's contagious laughter and his eagerness to try out new things. He even jokes about his weight and how he needs to start working out more, but his love for food is simply too strong.
As the episode comes to an end, Fluffy admits that he had an amazing time and that the food was simply out of this world. He thanks Lawrence for showing him a side of LA that he had never seen before and says that he cannot wait to come back for more.
