Flowers is a British television show that aired on the streaming service Seeso from 2016 to 2018. It is a dark comedy that revolves around the eccentric Flowers family, who live in a picturesque countryside house. The show follows the family members as they deal with their own individual struggles and try to navigate their fractured relationships with each other.

Sophia Di Martino plays Amy Flowers, the daughter of the family, who is an aspiring musician suffering from a creative block. She is engaged to her childhood sweetheart, a fellow musician called Abigail, but struggles to commit to the relationship due to her growing feelings for her neighbor, a shy and socially awkward illustrator named Donald.

Daniel Rigby plays Donald Flowers, the neighbor of the titular family, who becomes entangled in their lives and complicated relationships. He is plagued by his own insecurities and often finds himself being pulled into the chaos of the Flowers household. Despite this, he develops an unlikely friendship with Amy, who he becomes romantically involved with as the show progresses.

Julian Barratt plays Maurice Flowers, the patriarch of the Flowers family, who is a failed author suffering from writer's block. He is also dealing with a deteriorating marriage to his wife Deborah, who he no longer communicates with. As the show progresses, Maurice's mental health begins to decline, and he becomes increasingly delusional and unhinged, leading to a series of bizarre and unsettling events.

Olivia Colman plays Deborah Flowers, the matriarch of the family, who is a depressed and emotionally distant musician struggling to connect with her family. She is in a loveless marriage with Maurice, and is having an affair with her own therapist. Her troubled relationship with her family is exacerbated by her own issues with mental health, leading to a series of dramatic and emotional scenes.

Will Sharpe plays Shun, a Japanese illustrator who becomes romantically involved with Maurice's son, Donald, after a chance meeting. He is a mysterious and enigmatic character who is portrayed as being otherworldly and detached from reality. His unconventional relationship with Donald is one of the show's main plot points, and is often explored in dreamlike and surreal imagery.

Throughout the series, the Flowers family deal with a range of issues, including mental health problems, relationship troubles, and creative blocks. The show is a combination of comedy, drama, and surrealism, and is praised for its unique visual style and strong performances from its cast.

Overall, Flowers is a compelling and thought-provoking show that explores the complexities of family relationships and mental health. It is a must-watch for fans of dark comedies and unconventional storytelling.
