The Floogals are back with a bang, and in season 3 episode 10, the curious little aliens go on exciting adventures to learn more about the world around them. In this episode titled "Project Hula Hoop / Project Mole," the Floogals observe and investigate a mysterious object that bounces, rolls and spins - a hula hoop.
As soon as the Floogals take a closer look, they are fascinated by the simple yet intriguing invention that kept children entertained for ages. The three aliens want to find out how it works and what makes it so fun. But, as they start examining the hula hoop, they discover some unexpected challenges along the way.
The Floogals must watch and analyze the movements of the children as they play with the hula hoops, to understand how it moves and why it spins. They soon realize that the secret to making the hula hoop spin is to keep the body in constant motion. Moreover, the Floogals also learn that people can perform different tricks with the hula hoop, such as spinning it around their waist, hips, and arms, as well as passing it over their heads.
The Floogals then have a great idea to create a project of their own - Project Hula Hoop. They decide to build their hula hoop and test it out, but it proves to be more complicated than they initially thought. After several attempts, they finally manage to create a functional hula hoop. However, when it comes to spinning the hula hoop, visibility becomes an issue for the aliens. They look for ways to improve their visibility to keep the hula hoop moving, ultimately succeeding with their project.
In the second part of the episode, Project Mole, the Floogals are on the lookout for new discoveries. During their exploration, they hear a strange noise coming from the ground. The curious aliens investigate the noise and discover a hole in the ground. They surmise that a mole must have dug it, and they want to learn more about the creature.
The Floogals then embark on Project Mole, to explore and study the burrowing animal. They dig deeper into the hole as they try to catch a glimpse of the mole. But, as they get closer, they are concerned that they may have frightened it away. But their streak of luck changes, and they spot the mole moving in the distance.
The Floogals observe the mole's behavior closely and learn that it's an excellent digger. They notice that the mole's tiny ears and eyes are barely visible, but it has large front paws and a cylindrical body that it uses for digging. They also learn that the mole's diet consists mostly of insects and worms.
As they observe the mole, the Floogals come up with new ideas for their Project Mole. They decide to create a model mole and perform various tests to see how it behaves. They learn that the model mole can dig through soft soil effortlessly, but it struggles with hard and rocky surfaces. They also observe how the model mole's front paws work similarly to hands, with long claws for digging and maneuvering.
Overall, in this exciting episode of Floogals, our alien friends go on an adventure to explore new things, learn more about the hula hoop, and delve into the fascinating world of moles. Through their investigations and experiments, the Floogals learn more about the wonders of the world around them.
