Ep 4. Happy Flipping Anniversary!

In Flea Market Flip season 4 episode 4 titled "Happy Flipping Anniversary!", host Lara Spencer and her two teams of savvy flippers are challenged to find and flip three projects under a budget of $500. The teams are made up of long-time friends and business partners, Jess and Steph, who are celebrating their 10th flipping anniversary, and couple John and Teri who are hoping to turn their passion for flipping into a full-time business.

The first challenge is finding a piece to flip at the Elephant's Trunk Flea Market in Connecticut. Jess and Steph snag a vintage metal cart while John and Teri opt for an old rocking horse. The teams then rush to their respective workshops to get started on their projects.

With only a day left to finish their flips, tensions rise as both teams run into roadblocks. Jess and Steph struggle to remove rust from their cart while John and Teri face difficulties in fixing a broken rocking horse leg. However, both teams push through and manage to turn their pieces into unique and functional furniture pieces.

The second challenge takes place at the Brooklyn Flea Market where the teams must find two pieces to bring back to their workshop and flip. Jess and Steph find a set of old kitchen chairs and an antique sink while John and Teri score a pair of vintage metal lockers and an old wooden trunk.

Back in the workshop, the teams quickly get to work. Jess and Steph clean and reupholster the chairs and repurpose the sink into a bar, while John and Teri transform the lockers into a TV stand and use the trunk as a coffee table.

At the end of the day, the teams head to the Long Island City Flea Market to sell their flips and see who will come out on top. With limited time, both teams work hard to convince customers to buy their pieces. Though both teams do well, Lara can only name one team the winner, and the losing team is forced to say goodbye to their beloved projects.
