In season 1 episode 10 of Fish Hooks, titled "Big Fish / The Dark Side of the Fish," we follow the adventures of three teenage fish: Milo, Oscar, and Bea, as they navigate their way through the challenges of high school life in a fish tank. In this episode, the trio encounters two different obstacles which they must overcome together.
In the first segment, "Big Fish," Milo becomes obsessed with the idea of growing to become the biggest fish in the tank. As he tries to figure out how to achieve this goal, he enlists the help of his friends, Oscar and Bea, to feed him as much food as possible. However, this only leads to Milo's stomach expanding to such an enormous size that he becomes stuck in a small tunnel. Meanwhile, Oscar and Bea have a hard time trying to figure out how to get him out of the tunnel, all while avoiding the dangerous predators lurking nearby.
The second segment, "The Dark Side of the Fish," takes a more serious tone. In this episode, the school principal introduces a new class on the dangers of bullying. Oscar, Bea, and Milo are all excited to take the class, but things quickly take a turn for the worse when they discover that the teacher is actually a notorious bully herself. The trio must decide whether to stay and learn what she has to teach, or risk being bullied themselves.
