Bea in the Picture / Fish Out of Water is the first episode of the popular animated series, Fish Hooks. The show follows the daily lives of three teenage fish, Oscar, Milo, and Bea, as they attend Freshwater High School, where they learn about life underwater and above the surface.

The trio manages to find a fishbowl in a pet store and are convinced to buy it, but they don't realize the danger they have put themselves in. While in the fishbowl, the friends experience life on the other side of the glass, but they soon discover that being in a fishbowl is not as glamorous as it seems.
As the episode progresses, the friends encounter various challenges, including being picked up by a little girl and placed in a room where two cats are waiting to pounce on them. They realize that they are better off living in their underwater world, and they finally make their way back to Freshwater High.
Throughout the episode, there are various funny interactions between the friends, with Bea's over-the-top personality and Milo's clumsy nature providing numerous comedic moments. The show also features other characters, such as Mr. Baldwin, the school principal, and Oscar's crush, Angela, who add depth to the storyline.
