Ep 8. Hide And Seek

Fireman Sam season 5 episode 8 is called "Hide and Seek." In this episode, the children of Pontypandy are playing hide and seek. Norman Price and Mandy Flood team up, while James Jones and Sarah and James's younger brother, William Jones, team up. Meanwhile, Sam and the rest of the firefighters are practicing their firefighting skills.

Norman and Mandy hide together behind the old abandoned shed, but they are soon discovered by James and William. James and William continue to look for Sarah but are unable to find her. They hear a strange noise coming from the shed and become convinced that Sarah is trapped inside.

Sam and the fire brigade are practicing their skills when they receive a call from James saying that Sarah is trapped inside the shed. As they race to the scene, the team discusses the best way to enter the building without causing further damage.

Upon arriving, Fireman Sam assesses the situation and decides that the best way to rescue Sarah is to create a hole in the roof of the building. With the help of Elvis, Fireman Sam uses a chainsaw to carefully cut a rectangular hole in the roof.

With the hole created, the firefighters are able to lower a ladder inside the building. As they search for Sarah, they find lots of old junk and several animals hidden around the shed. They finally find Sarah hiding under a pile of old clothes.

With Sarah safe, the children are all reunited. The firefighters then turn their attention to the animals hiding in the shed. They carefully remove them and return them to their owners.

As the episode ends, the children learn an important lesson about the dangers of hiding in old buildings. The firefighters remind them that it's always important to stay safe and tell a responsible adult where they will be playing.
