Ep 12. Ner Tamid

Another group, the survivors, the heroes in the apocalypse are catching up in their objective of finding and rescuing the missing child of one of their teammates. However, they soon discover that they're not alone in their journey as they come across a new community. The group is a religious one and they are determined to protect their place of worship, a synagogue and the Ner Tamid, a light that should never go out.

As they get closer to the community, they are welcomed by Rabbi Jacob Kessner, the leader of the community. The Rabbi, however, informs them that they are in the middle of a war, as they are being threatened by another group, the Druzhnik. The Druzhnik is a group of men who are armed and dangerous and want to take everything that they have. Rabbi Kessner says that they've been fighting for their synagogue, their community, and the Ner Tamid. The Ner Tamid is a symbol of the Jewish faith and represents the perpetual light that always burns, no matter what.

The group realizes that they cannot leave the community defenseless against the Druzhnik and decides to help the community the best they can. Morgan takes on a leadership role and tells the group that they will need to help defend the synagogue and protect the Ner Tamid. He said that he felt a connection to the place of worship as it looked like a place where he could remember his wife who passed. They also meet a new person who will be of much help to them: Daniel Salazar, who was presumed dead by some members of the group.

The group then moves into action, and they start preparing the synagogue for the incoming attack. They set up traps and barricades to slow down the Druzhnik and improve their defense. They also train the community in the use of weapons to help them fend for themselves. As they prepare, they discover that one of their own is still missing, and they suspect that they may have been taken by the Druzhnik.

In the meantime, the leader of the Druzhnik starts communicating with Rabbi Kessner. He tries to convince the Rabbi to give up the Ner Tamid, which he says would give them an advantage in their fight. He threatens that if he doesn't cooperate, he will come and take it by force. The Rabbi, however, refuses to give up their symbol and fights back.

During the battle, the group is split into two. One is tasked with defending the synagogue, while the other is searching for their lost member. They come across some obstacles, but they're not willing to give up until they save their own. In the end, the two groups come together, and together they push back the Druzhnik. In the aftermath of the battle, they reconnect with the synagogue community.

Morgan then had the Ner Tamid lit, a symbol of hope for a sense of direction for all the lost souls. On their way, they continue to their mission to help save people and also to find their purpose.
