Ep 6. A Night of Schemes

In Fate/Zero season 1 episode 6, titled "A Night of Schemes," the story follows the aftermath of the previous episode's confrontation between Saber and Lancer. Kiritsugu and his partner, Maiya, discuss their planned approach to eliminate Lancer, who has proven to be a formidable opponent, while Saber recovers from her injuries.

Later, Caster and his master, Ryuunosuke, continue their gruesome killing spree, which has attracted the attention of the other masters. Archer, who considers himself above such barbaric acts, confronts Caster, but the villainous duo appears more resilient than expected.

As the night progresses, Kiritsugu puts his plan into action by using explosives to trap Lancer and his master, Kayneth, within their hotel room. However, Kayneth has his own plan, and the situation quickly escalates into a deadly battle.

Meanwhile, Saber, who has recovered from her injuries, opposes Kiritsugu's ruthless tactics and finds herself at odds with his views on the Holy Grail War and their respective roles. This leads to a heated debate between the two, highlighting their conflicting ideologies.

As the episode comes to a close, the battle between Lancer and Kiritsugu intensifies, and the true extent of the latter's abilities is revealed. The stage is set for a thrilling conclusion to the first half of the season, full of action, intrigue, and complex characters.
