As a prelude to the final battle for the Holy Grail, the nineteenth episode of Fate/Zero season 1, titled Gerechtigkeit, kicks off with Kirei attempting to come to terms with his own inner turmoil - that he finds pleasure in the pain of others. But he is interrupted by a sudden visit by Kiritsugu, who seeks to enlist Kirei's help in finding a way to avert the impending disaster that is about to strike Fuyuki City.

Meanwhile, Gilgamesh has taken center stage as he confronts Saber, revealing to her the true nature of the Holy Grail and the reason why it has been calling out to her. Saber, shaken to her core by the monster's revelations, is plunged into a moment of deep self-doubt, wondering whether she's been fighting for the right reasons all along.

But the focus of the episode shifts once more, with Kirei and Kiritsugu teaming up to take on Caster and his monstrous golem. In the heat of battle, Kirei begins to understand the true nature of Kiritsugu's wish, which is to create a world without conflict and suffering. Kirei, who finds satisfaction only in the despair and misery of others, is moved by Kiritsugu's selflessness and begins to view him as a worthy opponent.

As the battle rages on, Caster unleashes his ultimate trump card - the summoning of the elder god known as the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. The immense structure rises high into the sky, a testament to Caster's madness and his unrelenting desire to please his twisted definition of God.

In a desperate gambit, Kirei takes it upon himself to enter the Hanging Gardens alone, hoping to destroy it from within. But he quickly discovers that Caster's fiercely loyal Servant, Assassin, has been waiting for him all along. The two engage in a brutal battle, both pushing themselves to the limit in their determination to emerge victorious.

Back outside, Kiritsugu and Saber face off against the monstrous golem, using every trick and tool at their disposal to bring it down. They are helped by the unexpected arrival of Archer, who declares that he wishes to fight alongside them to protect the city from the dangers of the Holy Grail.

As the episode draws to a close, Kirei and Assassin's battle reaches its climax, with Kirei emerging victorious but heavily injured. But as the dust clears and the enormity of the situation becomes clear to everyone, it becomes clear that the real fight for the Holy Grail has only just begun.

Overall, episode 19 of Fate/Zero season 1 is filled with intense action, deep character development, and unexpected twists and turns. It does an excellent job of setting the stage for the climactic final showdown between the various factions vying for control of the Holy Grail, while keeping viewers on the edge of their seats with thrilling fight scenes and emotional confrontations.
