John is feeling left out after the arrival of a beautiful alien visitor aboard Moya. Her name is Jool, and she's a feisty and self-assured creature who brings an abundance of energy to the ship. However, her unexpected arrival has caused a bit of a stir among the crew, particularly Aeryn, who is less than thrilled to have another woman on board.
As John's friendship with Jool begins to grow, Aeryn becomes increasingly jealous and suspicious of the newcomer's motives. When Jool begins to display some strange behavior, such as breaking into John's quarters and stealing some of his personal belongings, Aeryn's suspicions are only confirmed.
Meanwhile, another crisis is brewing as the crew comes into contact with a dangerous and mysterious creature known as a Kkore. Their encounter with this formidable foe could spell disaster for Moya and her passengers. To make matters worse, their initial attempts at communication with the Kkore prove to be futile, and they soon realize that they're going to have to find another way to neutralize the threat.
As tensions rise and the danger escalates, John finds himself caught in the middle of the conflict between Aeryn and Jool. While Aeryn continues to harbor negative feelings toward the newcomer, John is more sympathetic and understanding toward Jool's plight. He tries to balance his friendship with Jool while remaining loyal to Aeryn, but it proves to be easier said than done.
Ultimately, it will take all of their collective talents to survive the encounter with the Kkore. But with mistrust and jealousy running rampant among the Moya crew, it's uncertain whether they'll be able to work together effectively in order to overcome the impending threat.
Green Eyed Monster is a tense and action-packed episode that highlights the strained relationships between the various members of the Moya crew. It's a testament to the show's ability to combine elements of drama, romance, and science fiction in a way that keeps viewers coming back for more.
