John Crichton, Aeryn, D'Argo, and Chiana find themselves on a planet where its inhabitants are engaged in a civil war. While exploring the planet, the crew come across a device that causes them to become paranoid, aggressive, and delusional. As they begin to turn on each other, they must find a way to overcome the effects of the device and work together to escape the planet before it's too late.
The episode opens with John Crichton and his crew investigating a planet that has been torn apart by a civil war. As they explore, they come across a strange device that emits a high-pitched sound that affects their minds, causing them to become aggressive, paranoid, and increasingly delusional.
As the crew begins to turn on each other, alliances are formed and broken, and nobody can trust one another. Things go from bad to worse when the planet's inhabitants catch wind of the crew's presence and start hunting them down. The crew realizes that they must work together to escape the planet, but their paranoia and delusions make it nearly impossible.
The tension builds to a fever pitch as the crew members turn on each other, lose their minds, and engage in a fierce battle for survival. In the end, they must confront the source of the device affecting their minds and find a way to neutralize it before they destroy each other.
