When M'Dear decides to reminisce about her past, it becomes clear that she has a rich history which her children and grandchildren know little about. She shares stories of her deceased husband, Mazzi, a former professional wrestler known as "Macho Mazzi". She fondly recalls their time together and the love they shared. However, it's revealed that the couple had a strained relationship with her father-in-law, who disapproved of their interracial marriage. M'Dear grapples with past regrets and what could have been different if she'd stood up to her father-in-law. Meanwhile, Jade and Shaka struggle to find a gift for their parents' anniversary. They turn to Uncle Daniel for advice, who encourages them to create a wrestling match in honor of Macho Mazzi. The family comes together to perform an epic wrestling show, complete with costumes and choreography. It's a touching tribute to M'Dear's deceased husband and brings the family closer together as they share in her memories and celebrate her enduring love.
