In season 5 episode 14 of Family Guy titled "No Meals On Wheels," the Griffin family gets involved with a charity for the elderly after Peter accidentally hits an older woman with his car. Feeling guilty about the accident, Peter agrees to volunteer at a local senior center and soon discovers the poor treatment that the elderly receive.
Peter decides to take matters into his own hands by starting an organization called "New Yorkers Against Old People" (NYAOP) with the intention of getting rid of the elderly in order to make room for younger people. This organization takes over Quahog and turns it into a youth paradise.
Meanwhile, Lois is tasked with delivering meals to the elderly. She starts to notice that the residents in the senior center are being mistreated, including her own grandmother. Lois teams up with Brian, who is also trying to expose NYAOP, to reverse the effects of the organization.
Throughout the episode, there are many references to popular movies such as The Shawshank Redemption and The Professional, as well as some political and social commentary.
"No Meals On Wheels" is a classic episode of Family Guy that touches on serious issues about the treatment of the elderly. The episode also provides its usual blend of humor, wit, and satire.
