In the season 4 finale of Family Guy, titled "You May Now Kiss the...Uh... Guy Who Receives," Brian's gay cousin Jasper comes to Quahog to get married to his boyfriend, who is also named Brian. When the Griffins learn that Mayor West has made gay marriage legal in Quahog, they offer to host the wedding at their house.
As plans for the wedding ensue, Brian struggles with his own feelings about the ceremony and what it represents. Meanwhile, Stewie becomes infatuated with Jasper and sets out to win his affections, much to the chagrin of Brian.
The episode tackles themes of acceptance, tolerance, and personal growth as the characters navigate their own biases and prejudices. Despite raising eyebrows and causing tension among the family, the wedding ultimately serves as a celebration of love and an ode to the importance of equal rights.
Filled with the show's trademark irreverent humor, pop culture references, and ridiculous cutaway gags, "You May Now Kiss the...Uh... Guy Who Receives" is a standout episode that explores social issues with heart and levity.
