In the season 4 premiere of Family Guy, entitled "North by North Quahog," the Griffin family quickly finds themselves in the middle of a mystery when Peter purchases a tank of gasoline and discovers a never-before-seen episode of "The Cosby Show" on the tape that he mistakenly receives in the mail.
As Peter becomes obsessed with the missing episode and sets out to find more information, Lois becomes concerned about Peter's new obsession and suggests that he let it go. However, their disagreement quickly becomes moot when Peter's investigation leads him to uncover a vast conspiracy involving the CIA, government cover-ups, and a North Korean plot to launch a nuclear missile aimed at Quahog.
With time running out, Peter and the rest of the Griffin family must act fast if they hope to stop the missile and save their town from certain destruction. Along the way, they encounter a variety of wacky characters, including an overzealous CIA agent, a group of radical college students, and a mysterious bowling team.
Filled with its signature blend of irreverent humor, satire, and social commentary, "North by North Quahog" is a hilarious and action-packed episode that showcases the best of what Family Guy has to offer.
