In the Family Guy season 2 episode "A Picture Is Worth 1,000 Bucks", the Griffins decide to enter Chris into a local photography contest. However, Chris's photographs turn out to be terrible and he is disappointed by the results. Meanwhile, Peter and Lois come across a tape that they had made before they were married and decide to watch it. The tape reveals that they once had a lot of fun together and they get inspired to recreate some of those memories.
Peter and Lois remember that they once borrowed a local farmer's cow and drove it around town, so they decide to recreate the same scenario. However, they soon realize that driving a cow around town is not as easy as it looks, and they end up causing chaos and destruction. Meanwhile, Chris enters a new photograph in the competition, which turns out to be a huge success and he goes on to win first prize.
Back at home, Peter and Lois are feeling guilty about the mess they have caused around town and decide to apologize to the farmer whose cow they borrowed. The farmer is not happy and demands that they pay him $1,000 for the damages. Peter and Lois are forced to accept the demand and they decide to sell their car to raise the money. The car ends up being bought by Quagmire, who then auctions it off for a lot of money to a collector.
In the end, the family is able to make up for their mistakes and they all bond over their shared experiences. Chris becomes a photography superstar, while Peter and Lois rediscover their love for each other and their wild side. "A Picture Is Worth 1,000 Bucks" is a hilarious and heartwarming episode that showcases the best of Family Guy's humor and storytelling.
