Ep 16. You Can't Handle the Booth

In the episode titled "You Can't Handle the Booth," the Griffin family patriarch Peter decides to start his own self-driving car company. In order to fund his venture, he convinces his wife Lois to take a job as a booth announcer at a local baseball stadium. However, things quickly go awry when Peter becomes obsessed with his new company and starts neglecting his family and responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Lois finds herself getting too into her newfound job, developing crushes on the players and competing with fellow booth announcer Brenda for the attention of the crowd. Stewie, who has tagged along to the games with Lois, becomes bored with them and decides to use his own AI technology to hack into the stadium's scoreboard.

As tensions rise between Peter and Lois, Peter's self-driving cars start to malfunction, causing chaos on the streets. The family must come together to stop the cars and save the town from disaster.

Throughout the episode, there are also various cutaway gags and pop culture references, including a parody of the movie Speed and a cameo by baseball player David Ortiz.
