Ep 4. Follow the Money

In "Family Guy" season 16 episode 4, titled "Follow the Money," the Griffin family finds themselves in a financial mess as Peter gets himself into debt with the local pharmacy. In order to fix his financial situation, Peter enlists the help of Quagmire, Joe, and Cleveland to rob the bank where the pharmacy's money is kept.

The episode starts off with Peter getting involved in a car accident with a woman who owns the local pharmacy. Unable to pay for the damages on his own, Peter convinces her to let him pay it off by opening a tab at the pharmacy. Peter gets carried away and eventually ends up owing the pharmacy thousands of dollars, putting a strain on the family's finances.

At the same time, Quagmire, Joe, Cleveland, and Brian have started a garage band, but they're having trouble getting paid gigs. Quagmire suggests that they rob a bank to get the money they need and Peter sees this as an opportunity to solve his own financial problems.

The group begins planning the bank heist, with Joe as the brains behind the operation. They create a meticulous plan and set a date for the robbery. However, the day of the robbery, things start to go awry as each member of the group starts to have second thoughts and doubts about the plan.

Meanwhile, Lois becomes concerned about her family's finances and decides to take matters into her own hands. She starts cutting unnecessary expenses around the house and even gets a job at the grocery store to help with their finances. Chris and Meg also step up to help out by offering to sell some of their prized possessions to help pay off Peter's debt.

The episode culminates in a high-stakes bank robbery, with the group encountering some unexpected obstacles along the way. Will they be able to pull off the heist and save Peter from his debt? And will the family be able to get their finances back on track?

"Follow the Money" is a wild ride that sees the Griffin family's financial troubles front and center. With plenty of laughs and unexpected twists, this episode showcases the best of "Family Guy's" irreverent humor and zany storytelling.
