When it comes to parenting, the Griffins are no ordinary family. And in season 14 episode 14 of Family Guy, titled Underage Peter, they once again find themselves in a tricky situation with their youngest member, Stewie.
The episode begins with Peter taking his son out for a day of drinking, despite Stewie being underage. Feeling left out, Chris and Meg decide to join in on the fun as well, which quickly takes a turn for the worse when they all get drunk and end up causing chaos at the local mall.
As the night goes on, Peter and Stewie find themselves bonding over their shared love of alcohol, but things take a dangerous turn when they decide to drive home. Fortunately, they are stopped by the police before any harm is done, and a sober Lois comes to pick them up.
But the consequences of their actions don't end there. When Stewie is taken to court for underage drinking, Peter takes the blame and goes to jail in order to protect his son. Meanwhile, Lois tries to find a way to clear Peter's name and get him released.
Throughout the episode, the theme of parenting is explored, as each member of the Griffin family struggles to balance their love for their children with their responsibilities as parents. Peter and Lois question whether they are failing as parents, while Chris and Meg grapple with their own sense of identity and belonging within the family.
As always, Family Guy delivers its trademark blend of edgy humor and social commentary, using the Griffins as a lens through which to examine some of the more pressing issues facing modern families. Underage Peter is a standout episode that will keep viewers entertained and engaged from start to finish.
