Peter believes that his family takes him for granted and decides to run away, leaving them to fend for themselves. Meanwhile, the Griffin family is having trouble with their new pet pig, who they are struggling to train. As they search for Peter, they come across a small village where they meet a woman named Meg who is running a curio shop and hooks them up with a talking goat named Geena Davis. While they are distracted with their new farm animal friend, a group of farmers who are unhappy with Meg's sales tactics plan to take her out.
