Ep 8. Our Idiot Brian

Our Idiot Brian begins with the Griffins taking a trip to Martha's Vineyard which Brian initially planned with his girlfriend (Jillian) but eventually backed out last minute. Tired of Brian's naive and gullible personality, the Griffins decide to teach him a lesson on self-reliance. They leave him stranded on the island with no means of communication and hopes that he learns how to fend for himself.

Brian is unable to handle the situation on his own and is saved by an older woman named Martha. Martha lives alone with her dogs and enjoys a simple life, unlike Brian who always seems to complicate things. They form a bond and Brian realizes that he has fallen in love with her, despite their age difference.
