A Fistful of Meg is the fourth episode of the twelfth season of the animated television series Family Guy. In this episode, Meg Griffin seeks the help of her family to handle her bullying issues at school.

Meg endures a difficult day at school, where she is bullied incessantly by Connie D’Amico and her friends. Frustrated and bullied to the core, Meg is humiliated when her classmates share a video of her online. To reclaim her respect and garner respect from her peers, Meg decides to take martial arts classes. However, her efforts do not yield immediate results, leading Meg to suffer more humiliation and frustration.

Meanwhile, Peter Griffin develops an unhealthy obsession with his smart fridge when he realizes it's the only one listening to him. He constantly shares his thoughts with the fridge, hoping that it will help him make better decisions and improve his life. When the fridge fails to respond, Peter sets out to make it self-aware.

As Meg’s frustration peaks, she goes to her family for help. The family, initially reluctant to help, eventually decides to intervene to help Meg out. Chris suggests that they try a completely unique approach for revenge - by organizing their own version of the Wild West; with Meg as the outlaw among her bullies. The family gets together and enacts a variety of Western-themed set pieces, including a cameo from John Wayne.

The episode climax sets Meg and her tormentors in a final Western duel. This confrontation is well-staged, with engaging, well-timed fight choreography. The choreography of the fight scene is one of the highlights of the episode and helps in delivering Meg her long-awaited redemption. Finally, after defeating her bullies, Meg successfully extracts her revenge.

The show perfectly balances the humor and the emotive elements in this episode. The episode explores issues of bullying, self-esteem, and personal value that many teenagers face. The episode’s themes are relevant even in today's times and outline the lonely, painful existence lived by many high-school goers. While the episode has its moments of levity, it also has a heard-filled message about finding the courage to stand up for oneself when faced with challenges.

Overall, A Fistful of Meg is an enjoyable episode of the show that continues to demonstrate the incredible talent of its cast and writers. The crisp writing, lovely message, and exciting set pieces all contribute towards making it a must-watch episode for fans of the show.
