Ep 14. Fresh Heir

In Family Guy season 12 episode 14, entitled "Fresh Heir," viewers are invited to witness the comedic hijinks that ensue when Carter Pewterschmidt passes away and his will is revealed. Carter was the wealthy and powerful patriarch of the Pewterschmidt family, and his death leaves behind a sizable estate. Peter's rival, Carter's son-in-law Quahog Mayor Adam West, decides to challenge Peter for ownership of the cat. This sets off a hilarious competition between the two men as they try to outdo each other in taking care of Mr. Fuzzybottom.

As the battle over the cat intensifies, other characters become involved. Stewie, the precocious baby of the Griffin family, tries to manipulate the situation to his advantage. He sees a chance to use his cunning and charm to get what he wants, and he begins to weave a web of lies and deception that causes chaos for everyone around him.

Meg, the long-suffering daughter of the Griffin family, also gets involved in the fray. She has her own reasons for wanting the money, and she uses her skills as a makeup artist to try and gain an advantage over the other competitors.

Throughout the episode, viewers are treated to a series of hilarious and absurd situations as the characters battle it out for the inheritance. As the stakes get higher, the competition becomes more intense, with each character willing to go to greater and greater lengths to try and win.

In the end, however, the show reminds viewers that money isn't everything. As the characters realize the lengths they will go to for the sake of greed and jealousy, they begin to see the importance of family and the things that truly matter in life.
