Blair is in a good mood and nothing can bring her down, until she sees herself in a set of unflattering photographs taken at a party. Suddenly, her confidence takes a hit and she becomes obsessed with fixing her appearance. She goes to extreme measures, such as wearing braces at her age, in an attempt to look perfect. Tootie and Natalie are concerned about Blair's sudden insecurity and try to help her see that she is beautiful just the way she is. Meanwhile, Jo is dealing with her own insecurities as she prepares for a game of basketball against a rival team. She is nervous about her skills on the court and worries that she will let down her teammates. With the help of her friends, Jo learns to embrace her strengths and overcome her fears.
