Excel Saga season 1 episode 15, titled "More! Prop Memorial", follows Excel and Hyatt as they work for the evil organization ACROSS to take over the city of Fukuoka. After causing chaos and destruction in previous episodes, Excel and Hyatt are given a new mission: retrieve a valuable prop that was taken from ACROSS during a recent battle with the city's resistance group.
The episode begins with Excel and Hyatt preparing to infiltrate the city's main theater, where the prop is being held. They don disguises and successfully sneak into the building, but things quickly go awry when Excel's incompetence causes them to be discovered. They face off against the theater's security guards in a wild and comedic fight sequence that involves plenty of explosions, gunfire, and hand-to-hand combat.
Despite the chaos, Excel and Hyatt eventually manage to retrieve the prop and make their escape. However, things take a strange turn when they encounter a mysterious woman who seems to know a lot about ACROSS. Although she initially appears to be an ally, it soon becomes clear that she has her own agenda and may not be trustworthy.
As Excel and Hyatt continue their mission, they must also deal with the antics of ACROSS' other members, including the sadistic Lord Il Palazzo and the incompetent Dr. Kabapu. Along the way, they encounter a variety of bizarre characters and situations, including a group of sentient prop items, a ramen restaurant run by a robot, and a giant mech that wreaks havoc on the city.
Despite the show's zany and often surreal humor, Excel Saga also contains a fair amount of social commentary and satire. Many of the episodes parody various aspects of Japanese pop culture, including anime, manga, and video games. Additionally, the show often pokes fun at political and societal issues, such as urbanization, consumerism, and the media.
Overall, "More! Prop Memorial" is a typical episode of Excel Saga, filled with over-the-top action, wacky characters, and plenty of laughs. While the show may not be for everyone, those who enjoy absurdist humor and bizarre storytelling will find plenty to enjoy.
