It's Paradise from Hell marks the beginning of the second season of the American rendition of Ex On The Beach. The show is an American reality television series that solidifies the fact that love is not easy. The show welcomes ten singles to a tropical paradise to enjoy some fun in the sun, amongst them being two exes.
The ten singles are ready to mingle and are clueless that some of their exes will be joining them in paradise. Accompanied by their friends, they hope to find love and form new relationships. However, the singles won't have it so easy. The obstacles of their past relationships are still present and could cause problems as they try to form new bonds.
The ten singles arrive at the beach to find out they have to share a villa. Once inside paradise, they quickly start bonding and mingling. However, things take a turn when the first truth booth ceremony happens, revealing the first three couples.
The first couple is Georgia and Callum. Georgia, who used to be a cheerleader in college, quickly caught the attention of Callum, a British model. They spend their first night together, and things seem to be going well. However, when the truth booth ceremony reveals that they're not a perfect match, their budding romance is in danger of ending on the first day.
The second couple is Mark and Elena. Elena is an exotic dancer, and Mark is a personal trainer and model. These two seem to hit it off quickly, but the truth booth ceremony proves that they're not a perfect match either.
The third couple is Billy and Lexi. Lexi, a model and a DJ, has a straight-talking personality and says everything that comes to mind. Billy is a charming bartender that quickly grabs Lexi's attention. They are ecstatic to learn that they are a perfect match and appear inseparable.
The exes show up on their first day in paradise. Mark's ex Aubrey O'Day, a singer famous for being a member of Danity Kane. Mark is initially excited to see her but also anxious about the past when they were together. Aubrey is well aware that Mark has moved on, and their encounter brings about awkwardness.
Things get even more complicated when Lexi's ex-boyfriend Allie arrives. Lexi is not happy to see him, and their encounter is anything but pleasant. Allie is upset that Lexi has moved on and is eager to make things right. The fact that they still share a strong connection poses a threat to Billy and Lexi's blossoming relationship.
The first episode ends with the relationships forming and unfolding, and the ten singles trying to figure out which exes will show up next. The episode sets the tone for the entire season, and viewers are left eager to watch the second episode. The show thrives on drama, suspense and showcases the ups and downs of trying to find love and moving past missed connections and exes.
