Marie insists on taking over and ends up making some questionable decisions that put the entire party in jeopardy.
Meanwhile, Robert is struggling with the idea of being a father, and his wife, Amy, seems to be taking over their house with all the baby supplies. He confides in Ray, who gives him some advice on how to handle the situation. However, Ray's attempts to help just end up making things worse, and Robert finds himself feeling more overwhelmed than ever.
As the shower gets underway, tensions run high between Debra and Marie, and things come to a head when Marie's ideas for games and activities end up causing chaos. Ray tries to intervene and diffuse the situation, but his efforts only seem to make matters worse. Ultimately, it's up to Debra to take charge and save the day, showing Marie that she's capable of throwing a successful shower without any help.
