Ep 18. Everybody Hates Corleone

In Everybody Hates Chris season 1 episode 18, titled Everybody Hates Corleone, Chris and his friend Greg attempt to join a gang at school in order to avoid being bullied. The gang, known as the Corleones, is led by a tough boy named Monk, who challenges Chris and Greg to complete a series of tasks in order to be initiated into the group.

Chris and Greg quickly realize that the tasks they are being asked to complete are dangerous and illegal, and they begin to have second thoughts about joining the gang. However, Chris is also being pressured by a new group of bullies at school, who are threatening to beat him up if he doesn't join the Corleones.

As the deadline for initiation approaches, Chris is torn between his fear of the bullies and his desire to do the right thing. With the help of his family and his own inner strength, Chris must find a way to stand up to the bullies and resist the lure of gang life.

Meanwhile, Julius tries to help Drew improve his basketball skills, and Rochelle discovers that Tonya has been lying about her age in order to participate in a dance class for older girls.

Everybody Hates Corleone deals with some heavy issues, including gang violence and peer pressure, but it does so in a way that is both funny and poignant. The show's signature mix of humor and heart make it a standout episode in an already impressive season.
