A highly popular and hysterical American TV sitcom comedy / drama about a young Chris Rock and his life experiences is called Everybody Hates Chris. The show is in a narrated format where an older, more mature Chris talks about his teenage life and the experiences that accompany it. This show was created by Chris Rock and Ali LeRoi. Everybody Hates Chris was written by Chuck Sklor. In addition, the show is livened up by the wonderful cast who includes the following actors: Tichina Arnold, Tyler James Williams, Vincent Martella, Imani Hakim, Tichina Arnold, Terry Crews, and Tyler James Williams.

The story line was based on the hard upbringing and teenage life experienced of comedian and actor, Chris Rock. The setting of the show is in a rough and tumble ghetto in Brooklyn, New York.

Throughout the show, the viewers are shown many of Chris's struggles such as bad grades, bullying and dealing with his crazy and dysfunctional family. The characters of Everybody Hates Chris include:

Chris Rock- Chris is a nerdy, cute, but misunderstood teenager in Brooklyn with his mother, father and younger siblings. Chris is always bullied by teens who attend his high school and the neighborhood teens and as a result he feels jealous of his popular brother Drew.

Rochelle- Rochelle brings the drama because she is the perfect example of a drama mama, with her big mouth and sassy attitude. She is very overprotective of her kids and makes sure to keep them in line so they don't become juvenile delinquents.

Julius- A cheap man, Julius is the money saver of the family and as a result he does everything possible to save his money such as use store brand items, search for the cheapest deals and even purchase food stamps.

Drew- He is the younger brother of Chris and with his cool attitude and cool looks, Drew is able to appeal to the in crowd and be considered highly popular.

Tonya- Manipulative and always looking for a way to get her brothers in trouble, Tonya always devises ways to get her brothers in trouble from whining to the parents to setting up schemes and tricks.

Greg- Chris's only friend, Greg is a nerdy boy who gives Chris support throughout the show.
