In Even Stevens season 3 episode 19, titled "Model Principal," Louis and Twitty are excited to discover that their new substitute principal is a former model named Ms. Romano. They immediately start using their connections to help her get back into modeling, despite her protests.
Meanwhile, Ren is determined to win the school's annual "Principal For A Day" contest and become the school's acting principal, but competing with her is a popular jock named Jeremy. Ren and Jeremy engage in a bitter campaign, which soon turns personal as they trade insults and sabotage each other's plans.
As Louis and Twitty continue to push Ms. Romano into the modeling scene, they soon realize that she is not as willing as they thought. She reveals that she left the industry because of the pressure to conform to certain standards and because it wasn't as fulfilling as working as a teacher. Louis and Twitty eventually respect her decision and help her focus on her job as a principal.
On the day of the "Principal For A Day" contest, Ren and Jeremy give their best speeches in front of the school, but it is Ren who ultimately wins the contest. She is thrilled to be in charge of the school, but soon discovers that it's harder than it looks. She struggles to make decisions and gains a new appreciation for the responsibilities of being a principal.
In the end, Ms. Romano decides to stay as the school's principal and Ren realizes that she doesn't need a title to make a difference in her school. The episode ends on a heartwarming note as the characters learn valuable lessons about self-expression, ambition, and the importance of pursuing fulfilling work.
