The King Sloppy follows the wacky adventures of the Stevens family, who find themselves in hot water when Ren (played by Christy Carlson Romano) enlists the help of her little brother Louis (played by Shia LaBeouf) to help her impress her teachers at school. Ren, who is known for her academic prowess, is hoping to win the prestigious King Sloppy award, which is given out to the student who demonstrates the most "creative sloppiness" in their work.
Louis, who is always up for a challenge, decides to help his sister by creating an elaborate art project that is sure to impress her teachers. However, things go awry when Louis accidentally destroys Ren's original artwork and is forced to come up with a new plan on the fly.
Meanwhile, their parents Steve (played by Tom Virtue) and Eileen (played by Donna Pescow) are dealing with their own struggles. Steve, who is a lawyer, is having trouble with his latest case, while Eileen is dealing with her own insecurities about getting older.
As the episode progresses, Louis becomes increasingly obsessed with winning the King Sloppy award and ends up enlisting the help of his friends Twitty (played by A.J. Trauth) and Tawny (played by Margo Harshman) to help him create the perfect project. However, their efforts are hampered by a series of mishaps and misunderstandings, leading to a hilarious and chaotic climax.
Throughout it all, the Stevens family remains as quirky and lovable as ever, with their unique personalities and comedic timing providing plenty of laughs for viewers of all ages.
