Ep 1. Bad to the Drone

The town of Eureka is home to some of the brightest scientific minds in the world, working on cutting-edge technology and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. In season 3, episode 1, titled "Bad to the Drone," the residents of Eureka find themselves facing a new challenge: a malfunctioning military drone.

The drone, which was designed to be a weapon of war, has gone rogue and is now attacking anything that moves. It's up to Sheriff Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) and the rest of the town's geniuses to figure out how to stop it before it causes any major damage.

As the episode begins, we see the drone on the attack, shooting down planes and causing chaos in the skies. Carter and Dr. Allison Blake (Salli Richardson-Whitfield), head of Global Dynamics (the company responsible for most of the town's advanced technology), are immediately called in to deal with the situation.

Meanwhile, Deputy Jo Lupo (Erica Cerra) is on a mission of her own – to investigate a series of car thefts that have been plaguing the town. However, she quickly finds herself drawn into the drone situation when she happens to witness it attacking a military convoy.

Back at Global Dynamics, the scientists are hard at work trying to figure out what went wrong with the drone. They discover that it was hacked by a mysterious group of individuals who are using it for their own purposes. With this knowledge, they begin to work on a way to disable the drone and take control of it.

As the episode progresses, we see the various members of the Eureka community working together to try and contain the drone. However, their efforts are complicated by the fact that the hackers are one step ahead of them at every turn.

One of the highlights of "Bad to the Drone" is the use of special effects to bring the drone to life. The drone is shown to be incredibly agile and intelligent, making it a formidable opponent for the Eureka residents. The action scenes are well choreographed and the tension is high throughout the episode.

In addition to the action, there are also some great character moments in this episode. Carter, always the hero, puts himself in harm's way to protect others, while Dr. Blake struggles with the ethical implications of the technology that she has helped to create. There are also some moments of humor, particularly when the town's resident expert on drones, Fargo (Neil Grayston), shows off his knowledge of the machines.

Overall, "Bad to the Drone" is a strong start to season 3 of Eureka. It's a fast-paced and exciting episode that sets up some interesting storylines for the rest of the season. Fans of sci-fi and action will definitely enjoy this one.
