Esme & Roy is a children's animated television show that explores everyday challenges through the eyes of young children and their monster best friends. In season 2 episode 5, titled "The Very Sleepy Tillie; Personal Space," Esme and Roy encounter two different challenges.

In the first part of the episode, Esme and Roy are assigned to babysit their neighbor's baby monster, Tillie. However, Tillie is extremely tired and cannot seem to fall asleep. Esme and Roy try many different techniques to help Tillie fall asleep, including reading her a story and singing a lullaby. But nothing seems to work. They soon discover that Tillie is afraid of the dark and needs a night light to help her fall asleep. With the help of her new night light, Tillie finally falls into a peaceful slumber.

In the second part of the episode, Esme and Roy are helping a young monster named Fizz learn about personal space. Fizz is having trouble understanding the concept of personal space and often invades other monster's personal bubbles. Esme and Roy teach Fizz about the importance of respecting other monster's personal space and how to ask for permission before entering their personal bubble. With the help of a bubble machine and a catchy song, Fizz learns about personal space and gains a new respect for other monster's boundaries.

Throughout the episode, Esme and Roy demonstrate the importance of empathy, understanding, and communication when dealing with challenges. They show that it's okay to ask for help when you need it and that there is always a solution to every problem. By working together and using their problem-solving skills, Esme and Roy are able to help both Tillie and Fizz overcome their challenges and learn valuable life lessons.
