Ep 15. It's All in Your Head

As the viral outbreak continues to ravage the city, the ER staff is pushed to their limits. A young patient arrives with a severe fever and a bizarre set of symptoms that puzzled the entire team. Internal Medicine resident Dr. Ray Barnett takes the lead in trying to diagnose the patient, but his lack of experience and lack of confidence hinder his ability to make a diagnosis.

Meanwhile, Nurse Chuny Marquez deals with a difficult decision when a patient who is non-compliant with his medication refuses to leave the hospital. Dr. Neela Rasgotra treats a patient who is experiencing severe chest pain and discovers that his symptoms may be linked to his past alcohol abuse.

At the same time, Dr. Luka Kovac struggles with his own emotional trauma as he is haunted by the death of his wife and unborn child. As he tries to focus on his work, he receives shocking news from an unexpected source.

Throughout the episode, the ongoing outbreak weighs heavily on the staff as they struggle to keep up with the influx of patients. They come together to support one another and push through the challenges, but the toll of the crisis is visible on their faces.
