Ep 1. Ambush

The patient has fallen in love with her surgeon and doesn't want to leave without him. Dr. Weaver tries to convince her to leave and even calls security, but in the end, the patient's love for her surgeon wins out.

As the episode progresses, the chaos at the hospital only gets worse. Dr. Greene is faced with another tough decision when a man arrives at the hospital with severe burns and asks to be taken off life support. Dr. Greene has to decide whether or not to honor the man's wishes.

The episode comes to a climactic conclusion when Dr. Benton is attacked in the parking lot by the son of a patient he couldn't save. Dr. Benton is left bleeding and unconscious as the episode ends, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating the next episode.
