Ep 9. Vegas Baby, Vegas!

Vegas Baby, Vegas! is the ninth episode of the third season of the American television series Entourage, which originally aired on August 6, 2006. The episode begins with Ari calling Vince to inform him that Martin Scorsese wants him for his next movie. Vince is ecstatic about the opportunity, but Ari informs him that the shoot starts in two weeks, which is around the same time as his trip to Vegas with the boys.

Despite Drama’s initial reluctance, the group agrees to postpone the trip to Vegas until after Vince’s shoot. However, the news takes a toll on Turtle who had already convinced a group of girls to accompany them on the trip. Turtle convinces Drama to join him on a trip to Vegas, leaving Vince, E, and Ari behind. Meanwhile, Llyod is at the office when a hot woman walks in and tells him that she has a business meeting with Amanda. Lloyd is immediately smitten with the woman, which throws Amanda off who was expecting a male businessman.

Back in Vegas, Drama and Turtle’s trip starts to unravel after just one night. Drama strikes out with a group of women, leaving Turtle to hook up with a girl from Montana who ends up stealing their money the next morning. The two realize that they need to get in contact with Vince and Ari, who they left behind in LA, to bail them out. Vince, on the other hand, is trying to get into character for his new role as a cop by going to the gun range with his former security guard, Shauna. E and Ari try to manage the situation in Vegas, but things get worse when they realize that Drama and Turtle had accumulated a hotel bill of over $50,000 and the hotel staff is not willing to let them leave without payment.

As the group tries to find a solution to the problem, Lloyd is having his own issues with his new love interest. He realizes that she is a lesbian and already has a girlfriend, but he is determined to win her over. Amanda tries to help him by setting him up with a male business associate, but Lloyd’s infatuation with the woman prevents him from being interested in anyone else.

Meanwhile, Vince and Shauna take a break from practicing with their weapons when Vince sees an attractive woman at the range. He approaches her, but she turns out to be a cop who arrests him for trespassing on the shooting range. At the same time, Drama and Turtle’s situation in Vegas goes from bad to worse when they attempt to sell a fake Rolex in order to pay off their hotel bill. They are caught by security and are forced to flee the hotel, eventually ending up on the roof of a nearby casino.

The episode ends with E and Ari finding Drama and Turtle on the roof of the casino, with Vince being released from jail and discovering that his friends had bailed him out by pawning their Rolex. The group reconciles and decides to continue their trip to Vegas, but not before Drama informs them that his brother Billy is coming along.

Overall, Vegas Baby, Vegas! is a classic episode of Entourage, full of humor, hijinks, and the group’s signature banter. With both the group’s LA situation and their Vegas trip going awry, the episode is a testament to the group’s loyalty to each other and their ability to stick together in the face of adversity.
