Kristen Bell, the host of Encore!, brings a nostalgic reality series to life for Disney+ subscribers. The show gathers former high school theater cast members from various different schools and reunites them to re-create and perform the same musicals they performed when they were in high school.

The show takes us on a journey through the lives of former cast members as they reflect on their high school days and what it meant to them to be on stage performing. Some cast members continued their passion for theater post-high school, while others strayed away from the world of performing.

The show introduces us to a variety of cast members, from doctors to stay-at-home mothers, who all share the same passion for theater. Kristen Bell plays the role of a supportive friend to each of the cast members as she takes an emotional walk through their past experiences and helps them reignite their passion for the stage.
