Ep 3. Episode 3
- October 5, 2018
The third episode of Elite's first season opens with a shot of the students of Las Encinas school preparing for their cultural event. Tensions are high after the events of the previous episode, and everyone seems to be on edge. Samuel and Marina try to avoid each other, and Christian is still trying to win Carla's affection. However, the biggest surprise comes in the form of a new student, Valerio, who presents himself as Polo's cousin.
As preparations for the cultural event continue, it becomes clear that the scholarship students are feeling left out. They are underrepresented in the festivities and feel like they have no place in the school's social hierarchy. At the same time, Lucrecia's father is pressuring her to maintain her place at the top by any means necessary, including breaking up with Guzmán and forging a fake relationship with Polo.
Meanwhile, Nano is struggling to keep his relationship with Marina a secret, and it's starting to have an impact on his relationship with Samuel. When Samuel discovers that Marina was seeing someone while they were together, he's convinced it was Nano. However, Carla knows the truth and tries to cover for Nano, which only complicates things further.
As the cultural event finally gets underway, tensions reach a boiling point. There's a dispute over who should perform in the traditional dance, and the scholarship students feel like they're being shut out. Lucrecia takes it upon herself to make things right, but her efforts blow up in her face. Meanwhile, Polo and Valerio's arrival turns out to be the biggest shock of the night, with Polo taking the opportunity to make a grand romantic gesture that leaves everyone stunned.
Overall, Elite season 1 episode 3 is a rollercoaster of emotions. It showcases the complex relationships and social dynamics at play in the world of Las Encinas, and further sets the stage for the drama to come. With new characters entering the mix and tensions escalating, it's clear that things are only going to get more complicated from here.
