Ep 14. Flight of the Jaquins

Elena of Avalor season 1 episode 14, titled "Flight of the Jaquins," follows Princess Elena as she embarks on a dangerous mission to save her kingdom from an ancient evil. The episode begins with Elena and her friends, Mateo and Gabe, intercepting a group of Jaquins who are stealing food from a nearby village. After a brief confrontation, the Jaquins reveal that they are only stealing to feed their starving children, and Elena agrees to help them find a new source of food.

Their search leads them to a remote island inhabited by a group of winged creatures known as the Sunbirds. The Sunbirds agree to share their food with the Jaquins, but only if Elena and her friends help them retrieve a powerful artifact that was stolen from them by an evil sorceress named Ash Delgado. Elena and her friends agree to help and set out on a dangerous journey to Ash Delgado's lair.

Once they arrive, they discover that Ash Delgado has enslaved a group of magical creatures called Shadowjackers in order to make them do her bidding. Elena and her friends manage to free the Shadowjackers and retrieve the Sunbird artifact, but they are soon betrayed by one of their own and forced to engage in a dangerous battle with Ash Delgado and her minions.

Despite the odds against them, Elena and her friends emerge victorious and return to the island with the Sunbird artifact. The Sunbirds are overjoyed to have their prized possession back and agree to share their food with the Jaquins. Elena and her friends return home as heroes, but they are left wondering what other dangers await them in the future.
