Sherlock Holmes, played by Jonny Lee Miller, and Dr. Joan Watson, played by Lucy Liu, are back in Elementary season 4 episode 3 titled "Tag, You're Me."
Sherlock and Joan are working on a case involving a serial bomber who is targeting people who have a certain allergy. The bomber places bombs in everyday items like soap and perfume, and the victims are left with burns and other injuries. Sherlock and Joan quickly realize that the bomber is using a sophisticated system to track his victims – he is implanting a GPS device in them.
Sherlock and Joan work tirelessly to track down the bomber, using all of their skills to piece together the clues. Their investigation leads them to a suspect who is working in a research lab that focuses on allergies. However, the suspect has an alibi – she was in a different state at the time of the most recent attack.
The case becomes even more complicated when Sherlock is kidnapped by the bomber and wakes up with the GPS device implanted in his own arm. The bomber is using Sherlock's unique abilities to figure out the final piece of the puzzle – a way to make the bombs undetectable.
As Sherlock works to decode the bomber's clues, Joan races against the clock to find her partner before it's too late. She enlists the help of the NYPD and other resources to try to locate Sherlock, but can she find him in time?
Throughout the episode, the audience is treated to the usual banter and chemistry between Sherlock and Joan. The two detectives work together seamlessly, bouncing theories off of each other and using their distinct perspectives to tackle the case.
In addition to the main case, the episode also explores Sherlock's personal life. He is struggling with the aftermath of a recent breakup, and is trying to cope with his feelings of loneliness. Joan is there to offer support, but Sherlock is hesitant to open up, as usual.
Overall, "Tag, You're Me" is a tense and exciting episode that showcases the strengths of Elementary's writing, acting, and directing. The mystery is engaging and keeps the audience guessing until the very end, while the relationship between Sherlock and Joan continues to be the heart of the show.
