Ep 17. Possibility Two

Sherlock and Watson are called to a hospital in the middle of the night to investigate a case involving murder and a kidnapping. A patient with a rare blood type was murdered in his hospital bed, and his son, who is also a rare blood type, has gone missing. The hospital staff and the NYPD are baffled, but Sherlock and Watson quickly piece together the clues and start tracking down the kidnapper.

As they investigate, they learn that the kidnapper is a former employee of the hospital who was fired for stealing drugs. He had been hired by the wealthy family of the murdered patient to find a donor for their son, who also suffered from a rare blood disease. But when the patient died before the donor could be found, the kidnapper saw an opportunity to finally cash in on his expertise.

Sherlock and Watson follow a trail of clues to a remote cabin in upstate New York, where the kidnapper is holding the missing boy hostage. In a tense standoff, they negotiate with the kidnapper for the boy's safe release. But when the kidnapper suddenly turns on them, they are forced to fight for their lives and for the life of the young boy.

Meanwhile, back in New York City, Detective Bell finds himself in a sticky situation when he discovers that an old friend is dealing drugs in his precinct. As he struggles with his loyalty to his friend and his duty to uphold the law, he enlists the help of Captain Gregson to bring down the drug ring.

In the end, Sherlock and Watson successfully rescue the kidnapped boy and apprehend the kidnapper. But as they reflect on their victory, they realize that their job is never done. There will always be another case to solve, another crime to prevent, and another life to save.
